Stuart D. Kirchick has practiced criminal defense and personal injury law exclusively for almost 20 years, since graduating from Santa Clara University School of Law. In 1995, he founded his own law firm in Silicon Valley to represent California clients in a wide range of state and federal criminal matters, including DUI, drug crimes, domestic violence, as well as personal injury cases. He's an experienced trial attorney and is currently court-appointed counsel for capital (death penalty) cases.

In addition to his law practice, Attorney Kirchick conducts continuing legal education seminars on ethics for other criminal defense lawyers and is a guest lecturer at San Jose State University.  He is a member of the California Public Defenders Association, Santa Clara County Bar Association, and California Attorneys for Criminal Justice, the largest association of criminal defense attorneys in the state.
